OPAL
OPAL (Outdoor Play And Learning) is the approach we take at St Edmundsbury C of E Primary towards the children's play at lunchtimes. OPAL's vision fits exactly with the experiences we wish children to have in our school. They aim for every child in school having one hour of high-quality play a day. All of members of staff have been trained in the evidence base behind this idea and in how to provide this experience.
